My mother, my father, my sister and my two sisters-in-law have all battled cancer over the last few years. And one sister-in-law died.

There are many reasons why I’m running for Congress at this time of great turmoil over the economy, spending, and the future of Social Security and Medicare. But defending President Obama’s health care law is the most personal reason. I don’t want an insurance company to ever again be able to deny coverage for a pre-existing condition.

I am very proud to be releasing this ad as we kick off our final weeks until primary day. Thank you for your continued belief in me.
