We need to get Washington working again. We must close loopholes and provide tax incentives to companies for not outsourcing jobs. And we need to make darn sure that we don’t buy into the rhetoric that cutting taxes on millionaires will create jobs.

Now is the the time to strengthen, not cut, public education. I have two kids in public school now. I spend a lot of time at school, with parents and teachers. I’ve seen first-hand how much there is that does work in public education. The system isn’t perfect, but we must figure out how to improve it without tearing the whole thing apart.
