Kirkland-1st District congressional candidate Laura Ruderman announced today that she leads all other candidates in fundraising and cash on hand going into 2012.
“I’m excited to see the strong level of support for this campaign going into 2012. We have already made it to many of the towns and cities in the new 1st district and I’m ready to do what it takes to win this race,” said Laura Ruderman.
As of December 31, 2011, the campaign raised just under $260,000 while keeping $187,000 on hand.
“If candidates are going to be credible talking about making federal government more effective and efficient, I believe they should start by showing they can run an efficient campaign,” added Ruderman.
The campaign has also recently hired Mark Putnam, one of the key members of President Obama’s media team and producer of the 30-minute television special that aired before the 2008 Presidential Election.
